Dance Under the Stars: Summer Dance Series Returns to Intervale |
Experience an enchanting evening of rhythm and community at Theater in the Wood |
Get ready to lace up your dancing shoes and let loose—the Summer Dance Series is back for one final night under the trees on Saturday, August 23, at the beloved Theater in the Wood in Intervale.
From 5:00 to 7:00 PM, the enchanted woodland setting will come alive with music, movement, and laughter. Beginning with a welcome at 5:00 PM—complete with the pavilion bar open for a relaxing drink—the event progresses into a 5:30 PM dance lesson. You'll twirl through the tropics with Merengue, step into the streets of Havana with Cha‑cha, feel the fire of Salsa, and end with classic Contra dance—all in one "combo" session led by the talented Dominique Cinque.
This event isn't just for experienced dancers—everyone's welcome! Whether you come solo, bring a friend, or dance the night away with family, the atmosphere promises connection, cheer, and movement. Priced at $20 per ticket, or $16 for Believe in Books Literacy Foundation members—each includes a complimentary drink—making it both fun and accessible. Evenings on the younger side? No worries—kids 12 and under dance free.
Dust off your dance moves, immerse yourself in a night of joy, community, and rhythm, and experience the magic of summer under the lights.
For those planning to attend, the weather forecast for Intervale on August 23 is promising. Expect sunny skies with temperatures reaching up to 86°F (30°C) in the afternoon, cooling to a comfortable 79°F (26°C) by 5:00 PM. It's the perfect backdrop for an evening of dancing under the stars.
Don't miss this opportunity to be part of a cherished local tradition. Mark your calendars, gather your friends and family, and prepare for an unforgettable night at Theater in the Wood.
